The agreement

What you are agreeing to, what you may do with the service, and what happens if you want your money back.

  • Terms of Service (v2.1, effective August 25, 2026) — The contract between you and us: what you may do with the service, what we promise, and the limits on what we owe you if something goes wrong.
  • Acceptable Use Policy (v1.0, effective August 23, 2026) — The rules against academic cheating, deception, harmful content, privacy misuse and abuse of the humanizes platform.
  • Refund & Cancellation Policy (v1.2, effective August 29, 2026) — How subscriptions and passes end, when we normally issue a refund, and the statutory cancellation rights that may apply to consumers.

Privacy and data

What we hold about you, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and the terms we offer business customers.

  • Privacy Policy (v2.0, effective August 23, 2026) — What personal data we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have — with annexes for the EEA/UK, California, other US states, Canada, Australia and Brazil.
  • Cookie Policy (v1.0, effective August 23, 2026) — What the Service stores in your browser, why it is there, how long it lasts, and how you can control it.
  • Subprocessors (v1.0, effective August 23, 2026) — The providers involved in delivering humanizes, what each receives, where processing occurs, and how changes are notified.
  • Data Processing Agreement (v1.0, effective August 23, 2026) — The controller-to-processor terms that apply when a business customer submits personal data about other people to the Service.

How the AI works and what it cannot promise, how to report infringing content, and how we treat access and disclosure.
