Affiliate & Paid Promotion Disclosure
Version 1.0 — effective August 23, 2026. All humanizes policies.
In plain language
- Some third parties can earn commission when a person they refer buys a humanizes plan.
- Referral tracking is currently switched off: it stores nothing on your device until you are asked to allow it.
- A referral does not increase or otherwise change the buyer’s price.
- Affiliates must identify the commercial relationship clearly and may not promise guaranteed detector, originality or academic outcomes.
- We do not control an affiliate’s review, video or post; claims they make are theirs unless we have expressly adopted them.
- Where we pay for advertising placement, the platform labels it; this site itself runs no advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics tags.

1. The referral programme
humanizes, the operator of humanizes.com (humanizes, we, us, our) operates a referral or affiliate programme. An approved third party (affiliate) may earn a commission when someone follows that affiliate’s link and makes a qualifying purchase.
The buyer pays the same price
A referral adds no fee and does not change the price. A referred buyer pays exactly the same price shown at checkout as a buyer making the same purchase without a referral.
The affiliate’s commercial relationship should not be treated as proof that the Service is right for a particular person or purpose. Product capabilities, plan limits and current prices are stated on our own Pricing page and in the Terms of Service.
2. How referral attribution works
An affiliate link carries a referral parameter. The Insert Affiliate browser SDK is designed to read that parameter, validate the referral short code and store the attribution in the visitor’s browser so it survives sign-up, passing the referral identifier pair into Stripe Checkout as metadata if a purchase follows.
Referral attribution is switched off today
Remembering a referral is not strictly necessary to provide the Service, so it is not something we are entitled to store on your device without asking. Until a consent choice exists in the product, the attribution SDK is inert: it stores nothing, reads nothing and sends nothing. Everything described in this section applies from the point it is enabled with consent.
- Referred visitor
- Once enabled, referral attribution is processed only when a referral link provides the relevant parameter and you have allowed it. For an organic visitor, the affiliate SDK is a no-op.
- Browser storage
- Where enabled with consent, the attribution is retained locally in the visitor’s browser; it is not an advertising or cross-site tracking cookie set by us.
- Checkout metadata
- The validated identifier pair is forwarded to Stripe with the purchase so the transaction can be attributed to the affiliate.
- Price
- Attribution does not add a surcharge, alter the plan or change the price displayed to the buyer.
Further information about browser storage and the absence of advertising or analytics cookies is in the Cookie Policy.
3. If you arrived from a review, video or post
The author, presenter or publisher may receive a commission if you buy after following their referral link. Look for a clear disclosure close to the recommendation rather than relying only on a profile page, footer or generic link.
We do not control what independent affiliates say and do not pre-approve every review, comparison, video, post or comment. Their opinions and claims are theirs, not ours, unless our own website or an authorised written statement expressly adopts them. Participation in the programme is not an endorsement by us of the affiliate or of their other content.
Check important claims against our Terms of Service, AI Transparency Statement, Acceptable Use Policy and Pricing page. Report a misleading promotion using Reporting misleading affiliates.
4. Disclosure and endorsement standards
Affiliates must follow the US Federal Trade Commission Endorsement Guides and any advertising law that applies where their content is shown. The central rule is that a material connection which could affect how an audience weighs an endorsement must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously.
| Affiliates must | Affiliates must not |
|---|---|
| Place an unambiguous commission or paid-referral disclosure close to the endorsement and link, in the same language and in a form the audience is likely to notice. | Hide the disclosure in a biography, terms page, group of hashtags, collapsed description or wording an ordinary reader would not understand. |
| Disclose visually in an image or video where needed, and orally in video or audio where the endorsement is spoken. | Assume a platform label, affiliate link format or discount code tells the audience that commission may be paid. |
| Describe genuine experience accurately and distinguish personal opinion from a measurable product claim. | Fabricate or imply product experience they have not had, or present an atypical result as guaranteed or representative without support. |
| Use current information and claims that we ourselves substantiate and make. | Invent prices, plan benefits, certifications, performance figures or guarantees that do not appear in our current published materials. |
5. Claims affiliates may not make
No outcome or misuse promises
An affiliate must never claim or imply that humanizes output is guaranteed undetectable, guaranteed original, free from infringement, error-free, or safe or permitted to submit for academic credit. AI detectors disagree and produce false results; machine-generated text always requires human review.
Affiliates must not market the Service as a cheating tool, a means to conceal prohibited AI use, or a way to evade a school, employer, publisher or platform rule. They must not instruct an audience to misrepresent authorship or bypass safeguards.
Using the programme for prohibited academic-misuse marketing is a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy. It terminates the affiliate relationship and any unpaid commission, subject to any non-waivable rights and the programme terms.
6. A short guide for reviewers
- You may
- Give an honest opinion; demonstrate features you actually used; describe the plan and limits that applied at the time; discuss both strengths and weaknesses; and quote our current published claims accurately with context.
- You must disclose
- That you may earn commission, close to each endorsement and before or at the point where an audience can act on the referral link.
- You may not
- Present yourself as our employee or agent; promise a detector result, originality or academic acceptability; fabricate use or results; state an out-of-date price as current; suppress material limitations; or encourage a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.
A suitable disclosure can be simple: “I may earn a commission if you buy through this link. You pay the same price.” Whether that wording is sufficient depends on the medium, placement and law applying to the reviewer; it should be repeated where an audience could otherwise miss it.
7. Qualifying purchases and commission
What purchases qualify, the commission rate, attribution rules, payment schedule, minimum payment threshold, treatment of refunds and chargebacks, and any tax or verification requirements are governed by the affiliate programme terms provided when an affiliate joins. Those terms, not this public disclosure, determine whether and when a commission is earned and paid.
We do not promise commission merely because a person clicked a link. A purchase must be validly attributed and satisfy the programme terms. Refunded, reversed, fraudulent, self-referred or otherwise ineligible transactions may not earn commission or may be deducted as those terms provide.
8. Paid advertising and tracking
Where we pay for advertising placement to promote the Service, the platform displaying the advertisement labels it under that platform’s advertising rules. The fact that a placement is paid does not alter the product terms or the price at checkout.
No advertising pixels or third-party analytics tags
We do not run a Google Ads tag, Google Analytics tag, advertising pixel, cross-site tracker, or third-party analytics tag in the Service. Referral attribution is the limited browser-storage and checkout-metadata process described above, not behavioural advertising. Separate first-party free-check counters store only aggregate day/event/verdict-band totals without a user, device, IP, text, score, or pseudonym. See the Cookie Policy.
9. Our own editorial statements
We do not accept payment from another person for editorial claims about our own product. A comparison, guide or opinion we publish about humanizes or another service is our own. It may reflect our commercial interest in explaining our product, but it is not a third party’s paid endorsement presented as independent editorial content.
Comparisons are time-sensitive and may become outdated as services change. Readers should verify material purchasing decisions against the provider’s current terms. We will correct a factual comparison we find to be materially wrong.
10. Joining or reporting an affiliate
To ask whether affiliate applications are open, email support@humanizes.com. Joining is subject to approval and the programme terms supplied at that time; sending an enquiry does not create an affiliate relationship.
To report a misleading, undisclosed or misuse-focused affiliate promotion, email support@humanizes.com. Include the page or post URL, the affiliate link or code if visible, screenshots or a recording, the date seen and a short explanation. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
We will assess credible reports against the programme terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. Depending on the evidence and seriousness, we may require correction, disable attribution, withhold unpaid commission where the terms permit, or terminate the relationship. We cannot remove third-party content we do not control, but a reader may also report it to the platform or relevant advertising regulator.
